The good news about Udoghi’s contract extension comes two days. After the Italian left-back scored his first goal for Tottenham Hotspur in Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League opener. Spurs Stadium beat Newcastle United 4-1.
Udogi joined Tottenham Hotspur from Udinese in the summer of 2022 for a fee of £15 million plus a number of add-ons. By letting the original agency borrow it for use throughout last season. And just moved to play in the Premier League this season for the first year.
As for Udogi, he has played 14 games for Spurs in the 2023-24 season, purely as a starter in the Premier League. With only two missing games due to suspension and injury.
He linked up with the Premier League club in the summer of 2023. And he has quickly become a key part of Ange Postecoglou’s system as an attacking full-back.
